Guitar Lessons with Hannah Feehan

By booking guitar lessons with Hannah Feehan, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These are designed to ensure a positive and professional experience for everyone involved.

1. Lesson Bookings
Lessons are available for all ages and abilities.
One free trial lesson is offered per student.
Lessons may take place in person or online via Zoom, depending on preference and availability.
Lesson durations and prices are agreed upon in advance.

2. Cancellations & Missed Lessons
24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full, as the booking location and time are reserved for you. In the case of illness or emergency, please get in touch as soon as possible – exceptions may be made at my discretion.

3. Payment Terms
Invoices are issued monthly via email. Payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date. Payments can be made via bank transfer (details will be on the invoice).Late payments may result in lessons being paused until the balance is cleared.

4. Instrument Rental
A limited number of guitars are available to rent for new students. Instrument rental is £15 per term (approx. 3 months).Instruments must be returned in good condition. If damaged beyond reasonable wear, you may be asked to contribute to repair or replacement costs.

5. Learning Materials & Resources
Any books or sheet music provided are to be kept in good condition. If a book or printed resource is lost or damaged, you will be required to pay for a replacement copy.

6. Discounts & Concessions
A discount is available for students who receive Universal Credit or other UK-based means-tested benefits. Please provide proof when booking. Discounts apply only to in-person lessons. No discount is offered for online lessons.

7. Parental Responsibility (for students under 18)
Students under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian's permission to take lessons.
For in-person lessons, parents are welcome to stay during lessons if preferred.
Communication and payments for under-18 students must be managed by a parent or responsible adult.

8. Contact & Communication
All communication regarding bookings, cancellations, or invoices must be made via email: hannah@york-guitar-lessons.co.uk
I do not monitor social media messages regularly and cannot guarantee a timely response via other channels.

9. Student Expectations
Students are expected to attend lessons on time, with their instrument and any required books.
Regular practice between lessons is encouraged to ensure steady progress.
A positive and respectful attitude is expected at all times.

10. Safeguarding & Online Lessons
For students under 18, a parent/guardian must be present or nearby during online lessons.
Online lessons are delivered via Zoom or another secure platform agreed in advance.
Lessons may not be recorded unless agreed by both parties.

11. Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated occasionally. Notice of any changes will be given in writing and published on my website or sent via email.
